Acupuncture

"Pets Get the Point"
So what do needles, Traditional Chinese medicine, and acupuncture have to do with your animal?

Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine is a system that has been used to treat animals in China for thousands of years.  This form of medical treatment makes use of sterile, single-use acupuncture needles, needles with syringes, electrical current or laser-light to stimulate acupoints

The integration of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine with Western Veterinary Medicine provides a holistic approach to treatment, giving both the Veterinarian and pet owner additional options.  There are many instances when conventional western medicine is not feasible or possible.  Case in point, a cat who cannot be given pills safely or a nauseated pet who is not able to retain medicine.

So what are some conditions that can be treated with acupuncture?

Arthritis    Back Pain    Loss of Appetite    Chronic Diarrhea

Lick Granulomas    Seizures    Respiratory Difficulty    Kidney Disease

Pain Control    Anxiety    Muscle Spasms    Nausea & Vomiting

Constipation    Skin Problems    Obesity    Ear Disease

End Stage Cancer Pain
