I attended the AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) Meeting in Tampa, Florida March 12-15, 2015. Wow! Great meeting! Great weather! Our keynote speaker, Greg Bell, author of Water the Bamboo, challenged us to focus on what is going well. Sounds simple, right? As a trained veterinarian, I tend to focus on what is going wrong, after all most clients show up or call when something is not going well with their pets. This is where we are missing the boat. Ninety-five percent of our "well" pets in fact have something "wrong" with them. I am trained to discover diseases before they become apparent to most pet owners. Diseases caught early stand a greater chance of being stopped or slowed down and managed. Isn't this what we all want? better quality, longer lasting lives for our beloved pets? So if your pet has not been examined by a veterinarian in the last year, e-mail (email@example.com) or call us (765-962-4389) for an appointment. Not only will I tell you what is "going well" with your pet, I just may find something that together we can "make well".
