Checklist for Your Kitten's and Adult Cat's Health Care


Preventative health care will add to the quality and length of your cat's life.  The following lists our recommendations for a complete preventative health care plan:

ball_yellow_icon.gif (152 bytes) Start heartworm preventative-recommended all year
ball_yellow_icon.gif (152 bytes) Vaccinations to help prevent infectious diseases
ball_yellow_icon.gif (152 bytes) Start a high quality kitten food.  We now carry Science Diet kitten food.
         
cat.gif (181 bytes) Kittens -- 12 weeks of age

ball_yellow_icon.gif (152 bytes) Blood test to see if your kitten is carrying the feline leukemia virus.

ball_yellow_icon.gif (152 bytes) May be declawed after 12 weeks of age

ball_yellow_icon.gif (152 bytes) Please do your part to reduce the number of unwanted kittens that end up euthanized due to lack of homes.

ball_yellow_icon.gif (152 bytes) A permanent microchip identification can be inserted between the shoulder blades at any age - this may mean the difference between life or death if your cat should become lost.
