Withhold all food and water for 12-24 hours. |

If no vomiting occurs after this time period, allow access to small amounts of water every 1-2 hours. |

If your pet keeps water down,
then begin feeding small amounts of a bland diet. (We recommend I/d for dogs, C/d for
cats, or an equal mixture of chicken baby food, cooked with rice and
cottage cheese.) Feed every 2-4 hours for 24 hours. |

If no vomiting occurs when your pet begins eating, gradually increase the amount fed per meal and decrease the frequency of feeding over 3-4 days so that the total intake appreaches a normal quantity of food for your pet. |

If after 3-4 days of no vomiting, mix your pet's regular diet with the bland diet for the next 2-3 days then wean off the bland mixture to your pet's regular diet. |
