Post Surgery Instructions     

bulblpaw.gif (897 bytes) Allow your pet to drink small amounts of water first.
bulblpaw.gif (897 bytes) If no vomiting occurs, feed half of your pet's normal diet.
bulblpaw.gif (897 bytes) Resume regular feeding routine the next day.
bulblpaw.gif (897 bytes) Call Greens Fork Animal Hospital if your pet experiences:
 
  • excessive vomiting
  • extreme lethargy
  • incisional swelling
  • incisional drainage
  • any other problems
bulblpaw.gif (897 bytes) Restrict activity and excessive licking at the surgery site.
(A Buster collar may be needed if this becomes a problem.)
