Archway Days 2006
A mini version of Greens Fork Animal Hospital's "Park & Bark" enticed owners and the pets give it a go at the obstacles. Tunnels, weave poles and the teeter totter were contained in a portable enclosure. Several pet owners were amazed at how adept their pets were at obstacles that they had never seen before. Plenty of giveaways left everyone with their arms full of goodies. Both Dr. Teders and Dr. Osborn were on hand to answer questions attendees had regarding the health and behavioral issues they had experienced with their pet. Archway Days 2006

School Demonstrations
At Greens Fork Animal Hospital, we believe that by teaching respect and understanding of our fuzzy companions' needs, we can enhance the human-pet bond as well as a pet's health. For this reason, Annelies, a technician at GFAH, and occasionally Reagan, Dr Sally Osborn's Welsh Corgi, take fun forays into the communities surrounding Greens Fork.
Whether the topic is basic pet care, dog breeds and history, or common dog and cat parasites, Greens Fork Animal Hospital would enjoy stepping out of the clinic and into your community for a visit. Contact us if your school, library, or civic group would appreciate a free eduational program from a live pet and veterinary technician.

| Boys and Girls Club Education |
| On Thursday, September 16th one of our veterinarians spoke to the Boys and Girls Club at the Central United Methodist Church and the New Jeffers Center. The group ranged from kindergarten to high school. Topics covered included dental care, nutrition, and other preventative health practices. The students were also shown some interesting visual aides like an x-ray of a broken bone, bladder stones, and a model of a heart with heartworms. Both groups behaved very well and had great questions. It was a great learning experience for the students. The Boys and Girls Cub can be very proud of the students that participated! |
